WRINKLES AND STINKY can be SEXY
These are the kinds of things one never tires of saying when you work with cheese day in and day out.
I feel compelled to tell you about a few of the luscious treats we’ve got in our cheese case.
If you’ve got big plans for a three-day weekend with friends or you’re snuggling with your sweetie, there are a handful of cheeses that might make those occasions even better:
- Castelbelbo: a triple milk gem from the Piedmont region of Italy
- Bonne Bouche, Coupole & Cremont: we’re rocking a Vermont Creamery trifecta- each one it’s own unique and sumptuous treat
- Harbison: spruce-wrapped and dangerously easy to eat (I ate a half one all by myself last Friday to keep warm during the snowstorm of course).
- Teleme (pictured above): sticky, tangy, begging for some toasted walnut bread and fig preserves or a drizzle of honey
And don’t forget we also have wine and other speciality food to round out your cheesy weekend!

DELICIOUSNESS FOR A GREAT CAUSE
Cyril’s is thrilled to be participating in this event on Thursday, February 20th, benefitting Transition Projects, a non-profit organization with decades of work supporting individuals through their transitions out of homelessness.
This is the kind of organization that transforms lives in ways we can only aspire to do. For many of us, homelessness can bring up feelings of fear and even resignation which is why the team at Cyril’s believes so firmly in supporting organizations like Transition Projects that are engaged in this issue with compassion and stability.
We are honored to be part of this event and encourage you to head on over to Urban Studio and sample soups from fantastic Portland kitchens.
We are sending a stellar team and know that they would be tickled to see familiar faces.
TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE
Note that if you cannot make it to the event you can still make a donation to the organization.
Date & TIme: Thursday, February 20th form 6 to 8:30pm
Location: Urban Studio, 955 NW Davis Street
